China Volunteers Rescue 900 Dogs Bound for Slaughter from Cramped Truck
The Chinese Government will not allow the citizens to save the dogs unless they buy them back from traders.
The government official came to Save Dogs in China FB page and said, "You can let the dog die naturally without food. But we will not allow you to unload the dogs". A policeman also said to the volunteers, "You can pay the traders to buy all the dogs back. That shows how much you care for the dogs!"

BEIJING -- The head of an animal rescue center in China said Sunday that volunteers have rescued about 900 dogs that were being transported in poor conditions in a truck.
Chen Mingcai of the Chongqing Small Animal Protection Association said that a travelling citizen became suspicious of the truck and called police, who detained the truck driver on Friday night.
Chen said he was later contacted by a netizen who had seen a photo of the dogs left in the truck on the entrance of an expressway in southwestern Chongqing city.
He said that by Saturday afternoon volunteers from the animal center and other animal lovers who had seen postings about the dogs on social media had arrived at the truck wanting to help the dogs. Chen says three people were injured in clashes with suspected dog sellers who had also turned up.

Tigers are a conservation dependent species, requiring large contiguous forests with access to water and undisturbed core areas in which to breed. Tiger range throughout India, Indochina, and Southeast Asia is now 40 percent smaller than it was in 1951, and today tigers occupy a mere 7 percent of their historical territory in increasingly fragmented and degraded landscapes. Amidst this, the threats are mounting.
The main threats to wild tigers include: habitat loss and fragmentation due to mining, logging, farming and human settlement; depletion of their prey base; conflict with humans; and poaching for their skins, and other parts for Traditional Asian Medicines, such as bone.

Poachers also hunt the tiger’s prey species, and tigers are forced to target domestic animals, bringing them into fatal conflict with local people.

Nepalese police have arrested 7 people involved with tiger smuggling in the country and recovered 7 tiger skins, hundreds of tiger parts and bones. Two operations were undertaken by the Nepalese authorities following specialist intelligence training by Interpol in December.
The first operation was on 11 January. Officers of Manaslu Conservation Area seized four tiger skins, 53 kg of tiger bones and arrested four people who were allegedly trying to smuggle the tiger parts into Tibet, China. The following day, police conducting road checks near the Chinese border seized 5 tiger skins and 114 kg of tiger bones that were concealed in bags of rice in a van also heading to China. ~ My cruelty free mascara by Essence- Review! ~
I promised that I'm gonna review more Essence stuff so here I am!I started buying only cruelty free products a year ago & before that my fav mascara used to be Falsies by Maybelline New York!
I have to say that it's a really good one & it works perfectly but since I decided to go cruelty free I had to find a good mascara that works as well as the Falsies so I went for an Essence one..So here it is!
It works (imo) better than Falsies & it's much cheaper!!
So even if you don't care if it's cruelty free or not & you wanna save money this mascara is the best for you c;

Establish Greek Animal Police!
People plz,take 2 minutes of your time to sign this!Help Greece to establish Greek animal police!!!
Why this is important
In Crete, a few days ago, it became known another instance of
brutal abuse of a stray dog, which was tied to its genitals. At the same
time one after the other, pet owners abandon their pets because they do
not want or can no longer take responsibility for their care. The Greek
streets are filled with strays, while the municipalities and regions
fail to provide for the sterilization and adoption as required by the
Law 4039.
At the same time, the lack of Animal Welfare Education which observed in Greek society, in many cases makes life unbearable even for pets, since their owners choose violence, to "persuade" them to obey.
For these reasons, we ask the Greek government to establish Greek Animal Police.

Really important/Against animal cruelty!!
I do post a lot of stuff about animals over here & even if the picture below is violent & really makes me sad,that's how it is...So before you go buy your fancy leather jackets/shoes of fur jackets etc. think about it twice.....
Most people think that supporting the animal rights via your eating habbits or whatever is a 'trend' or worse something stupid..
You know why is that?!It's because people don't have the nerve to acknowledge themselves by searching about the simplest things..And even worse,they don't even CARE to find out how those lill creatures 'live'...
Believe me,the chicken(and every other animal ofc) on your plate wasn't a happy living one!It's a being that leaved a life throughn violece & pain..Just like the fur & the leather on your clothing items & accesories!
Long story sort,this post isn't about how you all 'have' to turn into vegans & vegetarians or smth!The bottom line is,search about what happens to those lovely creatures & decide what to do on your own!
p.s.:Sorry for the violent picture but some people need to see violence to understand that THIS is WRONG!

Tanzanian President Kikwete is on the verge
of signing a deal with a big game corporation that has special
interests in rich Middle Eastern hunters who wish to kill lions and
leopards.
This deal would displace 48,000 members of Africa's Maasai tribe- and
this same corporation has pushed the trible off their land before in
favor of wealthy hunters. Following a public outcry, President Kikwete
returned the land to the Maasai. We ask the President to STOP the deal
to sell the Serengeti to big game hunters.

Please Go Fur Free!
Intermix has every type of slaughtered and skinned animal for sale: Fox fur, rabbit fur, raccoon fur, and even coyote fur. Not only is fur disgustingly cruel, but it is totally unnecessary when there are so many fabulous faux fur options available.
As
long as shops like Intermix continue to sell fur, the fur industry will
thrive, and the senseless killing of fur bearing animal will continue.
When the public speaks, the industry listens. If we put pressure on
Intermix and express our feelings about their sale of fur, we can make a
